For over twenty years, we have loved sharing TAUS events with you, our community.

When we hosted our very first gathering over two decades ago, the vision was simple yet ambitious: bring together the thinkers, doers, and innovators who believed that language technology and automation could redefine global communication. What started as a modest series of roundtable discussions in Europe and the United States evolved into hundreds of gatherings all around the world.

Together with all of you who’ve attended in these many years, across dozens of cities worldwide, we debated machine translation before it was mainstream, explored data sharing long before big data became a buzzword, and charted the rise of AI in localization.

Our stages have hosted some of the most forward-thinking, groundbreaking conversations in language technology, setting the agenda for where our industry was headed next. And, then of course, there are the people. The late-night conversations over dinner, the spontaneous debates in the hallways or breaks, the long-standing partnerships forged over coffee, and the genuine friendships that grew across borders. Attendees, speakers, and sponsors haven’t just attended TAUS events; you have helped build a community that pushed our industry forward.

A Natural Evolution

If these events have taught us anything over the years, it’s that technology and industry doesn’t ever stand still. A few years ago, TAUS began a major transformation, pivoting from our origins as a think tank into a dedicated data and product company.

With recent breakthroughs in Quality Estimation (QE) and the massive surge in market demand for evaluation technology, that transformation reached a critical milestone. Today, the opportunity before us with EPIC demands 100% of our energy, focus, and passion.

Bringing new technology to market takes focused execution. To give our event series the dedicated care and growth strategy it deserves, partnering with a team whose primary focus is producing quality industry gatherings was the natural next step.
